Here we are: the week that changes the year. We’ve still been living in 2020 energy even though the calendar date changed. But the energy doesn’t shift into the New Year until we reach the New Moon in Aquarius which signals the Chinese New Year (this year of the Metal Ox). This year, that date also heralds in The Age of Aquarius, full and proper! Read More
We’ve had a lot of changes and turmoil in the last week—physical (pandemic resurgence) and energetic (personally tired and easily overwhelmed)–more than usual in a year that’s all about changing. That’s just part of our 2020 journey as we begin the Summer of Chaos, with July and August being the hardest months we have to face. Challenges continue before and after that through the end of the year, but with all that’s going on in these upcoming months, it’s best to get a handle on where we all stand within self, because we’re going to be tested. DISCLAIMER: Here’s what I’ve been getting about what’s coming up, which includes political energy because that most obviously represents our growth (and lack thereof) in this year of transformation. The politics part of this post comes later with a warning title so you can skip it if you want.
On with the program…
Last Friday/Saturday, we had the first New Moon of 2020 in Aquarius (our New Age), heralding the beginning of the Chinese New Year of the Rat. No more cleaning up what was left of 2019 (that’s what January was for). We’re in some pretty intense and cool new energy. More on that below, but first… Read More
So, we’re in April now. Happy April Fool’s Day. “Fool” energy seems very appropriate for where we are right now with the damaging ridiculousness that is our president and chaos seeming to reign all over the world. Although, The Fool card/energy in the Tarot deck is not an idiot. It starts as an innocent soul who takes a journey through life, sees and experiences unimaginably wonderful and horrible things and, at the end of the journey, understands so much more about life and self yet still retains innocence of soul to know that anything is possible. Most of the people on the planet right now were born in the Piscean Age. Many still hold on to the old traditions and ideals, usually fearfully and aggressively, especially when those ideals are questioned (and there’s a lot of questioning going on). Within the next six years, that energy and sensibility will shift, not just because those born with the Aquarian Age mindset will become more predominant, but many of the Old Guard will adapt and embrace the new way of being. With all the dismal news and feelings of chaos and hopelessness out there, in spite of anticipation of the holiday season, perhaps it would be helpful to take a look at where we are in the bigger scheme of things.
For people who don’t know what’s going on in the bigger picture, when I explain about the Piscean Age/Aquarian Age transition, they’re always surprised that the outlook is far more hopeful than they could have imagined. For people who are aware what’s going on – that we’re headed into more harmony, communication, equality and awareness – watching it slowly inch forward day-to-day can make anyone believe we’re never going to get there. Just an FYI, I am still using PayPal to take payments for readings, but as my current booking system is under the Square umbrella, they’re not keen on making it easy to use a different payment system than theirs (even though with Square you have to pay me over the phone rather than prepay as with PayPal). However, I am working on having a PayPal connection on my website that will make it easier to connect when a reading is booked but I don’t know how that will work yet.
Let’s talk Pluto and how our outer-most planet (yes, planet) is having such a huge effect on us. There are two aspects of Pluto’s cycle that completely and permanently change our direction as human beings. I’ve written about one of them before, but there is more of great significance coming up that needs addressing. Read More
On Saturday, January 28, we finally come into the Chinese New Year of the Fire Rooster and the energy shift into 2017! The normally fiery personality of Rooster coupled with it being a Fire Year doubles action, brings enthusiasm and energy into everything we feel and do and uplifts how we accomplish our journey forward. Hope and action are key concepts this year led by common sense and good values which come back into style.
2016 felt much longer than a single year as it’s been the culmination of a ten year cycle that got pretty intense at the end. Challenges and lessons we’ve overcome and learned (or not) over those ten years propel us into a brand new energy. This year is the foundation for our next ten years. And beyond. Read More
