The worst of the Cardinal Grand Cross in-your-face energy has passed but expect to feel the effects of it for weeks, if not months, to come. Moving forward will be considerably easier, but it takes a while for us to settle after an event like this. For the next few days or weeks, we may feel numb or have an inexplicable, low-grade headache that lasts for days or as if we’re recovering from a hangover. And we are – an energetic hangover.
This shift has affected our bodies just as much as our spiritual reality. So in the coming days and weeks, please be aware of how your body reacts to things. If certain areas of your body seem weaker or more troublesome, its showing you not only what your weakest link is but how to identify when you get too stressed.
This effect can manifest in the bones, joints, stomach/digestion, with sight or hearing. Anything. Whatever it is, when it recurs in the future, it is giving you a sign that you’ve reached an extreme stress level and need to take care of yourself better. Look in Louise Hay’s famous and incredibly helpful book, “Heal Your Body”, for spiritual and emotional reasons why that part of your body is giving you difficulty.
The energetic influence of the Piscean Age came to an end and was released with this Cardinal Grand Cross. Now it’s time to program how we experience our new Aquarian Age. The event that really helps us start the new reality is the New Moon/Solar Eclipse on April 29th. It not only gives us a clarity we haven’t had since August of last year (and a lot longer), it gives us an opportunity to create our new world.
Here’s a quote from “The Enchanted Map Oracle Cards” by Colette Baron-Reid (quite a beautiful and helpful deck) for the “Field of Dreams” card that I pulled recently that I feel is very apropos.
“This is the perfect time to harness the field of vast potential not yet realized in your life. Great abundance is yours if you’re willing to do the work. Be clear about your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Concentrate on your best life regardless of the temporary outer conditions imposed upon you by the greater world, which has its own story to tell. You have a basketful of seeds that are quite powerful, for your talents are divinely inspired and will indeed lead to a great harvest to be shared with others. You will reap what you have sown. Dream big, dream beautiful, take action and tend to the garden of your life…and experience the extraordinary.”
In that vein, I’m reprinting excerpts of a newsletter from last year that is a tool to “harness the field of vast potential not yet realized.” I call it “My Perfect World.” It’s an exercise of fun that has profound impact if done right and well. If you spend time on this, have it ready for the New Moon (new beginnings), and then read it every night from the 29th on for at least 40 nights, it enhances, magnifies and supports the creation of your new reality.
Your Perfect World
It’s simple. Write about your Perfect World as if it already exists. This is similar to making a Vision Board which has proven to be very helpful for some. However, I find it’s hard using that concept of getting what you want without feeling the energy of “want”, “need” or “desire”. And, as I’ve written before, those words and ideas put out lack, which means what you get back is also lack. Sometimes that subconscious drawback affects the success of the tool.
If what you get is what you put out, create your Perfect World as if you are living it right now: in the present tense. As you write it, use all your senses to experience it.
In writing of my perfect home, I saw the rooms, the color on the walls, the lushness of the backyard, the levels within the house and its features. I felt the breeze on a summer day coming through the open doors and windows and the sun coming in through the skylight. I felt the coolness of the stones of the patio under my bare feet. I heard the birds in the backyard, smelled the orange blossoms and jasmine growing nearby and inhaled the new oxygen coming from the pepper trees. I tasted the freshness of the air as I stood outside and felt the uplifting camaraderie and well-being of people joining me in Circle. I felt the contentment of my cats in their new home I felt the belonging of being “home”. Basically, I made it real.
Writing as if it’s a sort of fantasy gives you permission to work with your fullest potential without the stops that we have learned to put on ourselves. The lessons from past lives or childhood about what we’re worth or should expect have no place in this exercise because you’re writing from a place of imagination. And in our imagination, we deserve everything that’s possible; we can accomplish anything.
And everything is possible even if we have no idea how it’s going to happen. That, in itself, is an exercise in trusting not only our own powers of manifesting, but also the energies that work with us, and it reinvigorates our trust in Creator and the Universe that everything is in its own place and happens for its own reason.
Instead of “If you build it, he will come,” it’s “If you create it in your conscious mind, it happens.”
Try it. Write it down…that’s important. Just thinking of it, keeping it in your mind, in this case, gives little impact to the power of manifesting and limits the little details which make it complete. Spend time on it. Obviously, as usual, write it without negatives.
Once it’s done, read it regularly, preferably before going to sleep or when waking, as those are the times when our subconscious, our manifesting ability, is at its most powerful. When reading it, use all your senses to make it real for yourself. “If you feel it in your gut, you manifest it.”
One warning, though. If you are creating a perfect love, avoid putting a specific name or individual in this creation. That borders on manipulating or influencing another and that is an automatic God-smack. Even if you have someone in mind, put out that you have perfect love and let the Universe bring that to you. It may well be the person you want it to be, but it may also be someone you don’t know and could never conceive of without Divine Intervention.
The single most important overall lesson I’ve found the Cardinal Grand Cross brought was trust. Let go, let God/Creator. Fall back into a cloud of unknown and know you will be ok. This is not just the beginning of seven years of grown, it’s a year of serendipity. There’s a freedom in letting things happen; we all deserve to experience that. Remember, we are no longer in control of anything (we never were, we just thought we were). We only have control over who we are and how we present that to the world.
May our new world be a joyful and fulfilling one.
With love and gratitude…
