THE NEW STRENGTH

THE NEW STRENGTH

More than any other year, 2017 brought a lot of women to me asking about their future in love. They’ve had relationships throughout their lives but none of them were successful. These women are smart, self-aware, giving, loving, ready to commit and share equally, yet it never works out. Part of that comes from people choosing to work on multiple romantic karmic relationships that normally would be taken on one-per-lifetime. But because we’re in this rare ending/beginning accelerated time, we can complete many romantic karmic contracts in the life we’re in now instead of focusing on just one. Sidebar: completing a romantic karmic contract does not...

THE LAST MERCURY RETROGRADE OF THE YEAR

THE LAST MERCURY RETROGRADE OF THE YEAR

Here’s a wealth of information on the last Mercury retrograde of 2017. It completes the cycle of four Mercury retrogrades in one year (which we’ve had for the last several years during the beginning of our intense transformation) so next, year, we’re back to only three! This is from Gahl Sasson, Master Astrologer, all around Mage and Wise Man (the last two are my titles for him, not his). He gives us a list of days that are helpful and those that are dangerous, to help us get through this holiday season in the best way possible. I offer this with love and gratitude… Gahl says: Mercury Retro Dec 2 to 23 Mercury, the planet of...

THE STATE OF AQUARIAN AGE HOPE

THE STATE OF AQUARIAN AGE HOPE

With all the dismal news and feelings of chaos and hopelessness out there, in spite of anticipation of the holiday season, perhaps it would be helpful to take a look at where we are in the bigger scheme of things. For people who don’t know what’s going on in the bigger picture, when I explain about the Piscean Age/Aquarian Age transition, they’re always surprised that the outlook is far more hopeful than they could have imagined. For people who are aware what’s going on – that we’re headed into more harmony, communication, equality and awareness – watching it slowly inch forward day-to-day can make anyone believe we’re never going to...

CREATIVITY – A BALANCING OPPORTUNITY

CREATIVITY – A BALANCING OPPORTUNITY

There have been four major energy shifts in as many months, all helping us close out the lessons of 2016 and 2017 and clearing the path for the new energy of 2018. They were on August 21 (the eclipse), on September 21 and 22 (the Jewish New Year and the Autumnal Equinox), on October 10 (Jupiter moving into Scorpio) and on November 2 (an Earth event). They are part of the vibrational awakening for the planet and humankind as we finish and then come out of the difficulty of the last two years. The theme, especially for 2017, was “letting go of control” to get us more into “going with the flow”. I expect we will continue to have these events...

GETTING WHAT IS DESERVED (AND NOT)

GETTING WHAT IS DESERVED (AND NOT)

ABOUT PAYPAL Just an FYI, I am still using PayPal to take payments for readings, but as my current booking system is under the Square umbrella, they’re not keen on making it easy to use a different payment system than theirs (even though with Square you have to pay me over the phone rather than prepay as with PayPal). However, I am working on having a PayPal connection on my website that will make it easier to connect when a reading is booked but I don’t know how that will work yet. Meanwhile, you can still go to PayPal to my account at “lauriecjohnson@yahoo.com” to prepay for a reading until the connection is established. SQUARE APPOINTMENTS There are still...

HONORING ALL HALLOW’S EVE

HONORING ALL HALLOW’S EVE

Here is a reprint of an article I published several years ago, but the info is still relevant for our coming Halloween, Samhain, All Hallow’s Eve, Day of the Dead, All Saint’s Day observances. In past times, the year was divided into two seasons: summer and winter. Summer started on May 1; winter on November 1. The beginning of November was also considered the beginning of the New Year. With all the importance we attribute to the celebration of New Year’s Eve on December 31, the same importance was given to All Hallow’s Eve on October 31. Except it was a solemn and sacred time, requiring a more solemn and sacred ritual than...
