Tuesday, March 13 was one weird-ass day. There was no unusual planetary activity involved nor are we close enough to the Dark of the Moon/New Moon coming March 17 for that to be causing the issues I encountered and others from around the country reported to me.

A friend in town for SXSW and I took the day to catch up. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. From missing exits and turn-offs to road work delays (because I missed a turn-off) to nasty people, to babies crying in the movie theatre and different babies crying in the restaurant, to a little girl melting down on a field trip to the exasperation and frustration of her teachers and the other kids, to LA-like traffic and crazy drivers in Austin! Not to mention my impatience and annoyance with the crying babies and traffic and crazy people.

About the time we encountered melt-down girl, I was getting a clue but wasn’t sure until I got home, exhausted, overwhelmed and impatient with the energy, and saw this post from and it all made sense.

A GASH IN THE SUN’S ATMOSPHERE: An unusually wide hole has opened in the Sun’s atmosphere, and it is spewing a fan-shaped stream of solar wind toward Earth. NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association) forecasters say there is a 55% chance of minor G1-class geomagnetic storms when the solar wind arrives, probably during the late hours of March 14th.”

We haven’t felt major electromagnetic disruption like this since the Sun’s eleven-year cycle of sunspot and solar flare activity (Solar Maximum) ended a couple of years ago. What I found during the span of the latest Maximum was that people felt the electromagnetic disruption as soon as it happened on the Sun even before the actual wave of energy physically reached the Earth a couple of days later. We’d get disruption to our nervous systems and brains and computers and cell phones and other electronic devices. Basically, we’d all become testy and angry at everything including our slow or non-functioning devices.

This kind of disruption was exactly what we experienced on Tuesday. Hopefully, it didn’t bother you. But if it did, know that any frustration, impatience, exasperation, anger, feelings of imbalance and being on the edge for no logical reason was our inner electromagnetic systems being on the fritz.

I’m big on believing if we understand why difficulties are difficulties, we can handle them better. So there you go. It wasn’t too much caffeine or not enough sleep or any of the other reasons we use to explain why we feel “off”. It was massive activity on our Sun. And since the physical energy wave won’t hit us until late Wednesday going into Thursday, be ready for another go round. That’s not a threat, it’s just a warning so we can handle ourselves better.

Thanks for reading. Hoped this helps.

I offer this with love and gratitude…
